Robert H. Klima founded CDFI in 2010, along with a few others. He is an attorney who has practiced law in Virginia for more than 40 years. He received his BA from the University of Maryland in 1974 and his Juris Doctor from The International School of Law in 1978. He is married to Paula Klima and has four adult children. His youngest child, Ethan, is disabled and his experience parenting a disabled child provided much of the inspiration for CDFI. He is a member of Living Hope Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Haymarket, Virginia.
