“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorships

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Simeo Gido

Age: 12

Simeo lives in rural Kenya and has a hearing impairment.

Simeo lives with his aunt who is a small scale business woman. Both of his parents have passed away. Simeo has a hearing impairment, but has received treatment and was able to develop some hearing and speech. Simeo’s aunt has four children of her own and five additional children living with her, so she is a caregiver of nine total children. Simeo loves to play soccer. With the help of a sponsor, Simeo will continue to attend the Maseno School for the Hearing Impaired, receive the advocacy and medical support he needs, and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
