“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Saviour Amaheno

Age: 6

Saviour lives in rural Kenya and has spina bifida and hydrocephalus.

Saviour was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. He attends regular clinics as well as occupational therapy for his special needs. Saviour lives with his father, Victor, and his mother, Diana, who are small scale business people. Victor and Diana have both benefited from CDFI’s microenterprise program in Kenya. Saviour is the first born in the family and has a younger brother who loves to play with him. With the help of a sponsor, Saviour will continue to receive home based care and support, medical and therapy services, advocacy in his community, and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
