“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Goodlucky Akala

Age: 3

Goodlucky lives in rural Kenya and has cerebral palsy.

Goodlucky was very overdue by the time he was born, and was put on oxygen immediately after birth due to breathing difficulties. His developmental milestones were delayed and eventually he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. His father is named Joshua and his mother is named Francisca. Both parents are casual laborers so Goodlucky is currently under the care of his paternal aunt. With the help of a sponsor, Goodlucky will receive home based care and support, advocacy in his community, and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
