“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Davis Odhiambo

Age: 2

Davis lives in rural Kenya and has cerebral palsy.

Davis was born healthy to his mother and father who are small scale farmers. By the age of 18 months, however, Davis’ parents noticed his delayed developmental milestones and he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Davis is the youngest in his family of seven. He has a brother who also has cerebral palsy. Davis’ parents have benefited from CDFI’s microenterprise programs and now run a small scale business. With the help of a sponsor, Davis will be able to receive therapies, home based care and support, and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
