“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Samuel Gichuru Angana

Age: 9

Samuel lives in rural Kenya and has cerebral palsy.

Samuel lives with his mother, father, and younger brother in rural Kenya. His father works at a flower farm near Nairobi and his mother works as his full time caregiver. Samuel was born through Cesarean section and received three days of oxygen support followed by one week of nursery care. After three months with his family, Samuel was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Samuel loves to play with his younger brother, Collins, and to interact with the members of his family. With a sponsor’s help, Samuel will continue to receive occupational therapy and home based care and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
