“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Anderson Kipkoech

Age: 7

Anderson lives in rural Kenya and has intellectual disabilities.

Anderson lives in rural Kenya with his mother and sibling, who also has developmental disabilities. His mother runs a small scale business. Shortly after his first birthday, Anderson showed no signs of being able to walk. His mother then began taking him to occupational therapy. Anderson attends the local school for children with disabilities. He loves to play with balls and socialize with other children. With the help of a sponsor, Anderson will continue to attend Daisy Special School, participate in occupational therapy and receive the services necessary for reaching his full potential.
