“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Dale Madoyo

Age: 17

Dale lives in rural Kenya and is physically and mentally impaired.

Dale was born to a single mother who works as a casual laborer approximately six hours from their home. Dale is cared for by his widowed grandmother who also cares for three other grandchildren. When he was three years old Dale’s mother discovered that he had overgrown bones. Since then he has gone through several corrective limb surgeries. Dale is both physically and mentally impaired and suffers from seizures. He attends Madegwa Special School. Dale loves to play games with his friends. With the help of a sponsor, Dale will continue to attend school, receive support and advocacy in his community, and have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
