“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love. and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Azibeta Musimbi

Age: 15

Azibeta lives in rural Kenya and has spina bifida.

Azibeta was born healthy at home but at 6 months she was diagnosed with spina bifida. She is part of a family of six. Azibeta’s sister, Valentine, also has spina bifida. Because of this, life has been very hard for the family. Azibeta’s parents are casual laborers. Azibeta has undergone surgery in Kijabe and is now in school. She attends therapy regularly and also uses a pair of crutches to walk. Azibeta loves to play with stones and cards. With the help of a sponsor, Azibeta will continue to attend school and have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
