“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Ann Deiso

Age: 13

Ann lives in rural Kenya and has a cleft and lip palate, and is visually impaired.

Ann was born with a rare cleft and lip palate, which thankfully has been repaired. She is also visually impaired. Ann lives with both of her parents, who are peasant farmers. She hopes to join St. Oda Special School for the Visually Impaired. Ann enjoys helping her parents with light household chores like sweeping their house and washing utensils. She is very outgoing and loves to play ball games with her friends. With the help of a sponsor, Ann will attend the St. Oda Special School for the Visually Impaired, receive the advocacy and medical support she needs, and will have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
