“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Lucy Khagai

Age: 19

Lucy lives in rural Kenya and has a cognitive disability.

Lucy is the first born of four children and lives with her single mother, who does casual day jobs in order to sustain the family. Lucy is generally reserved, but sometimes hyperactive. She loves to sing and dance. With the help of a sponsor, Lucy will continue to attend the St. Oda School for the Visually Impaired, receive the advocacy and medical support she needs, and will have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
