“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorships

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Joshua Castro

Age: 8

Joshua lives in rural Kenya and is visually impaired.

Joshua is one of two children in his family and he lives with both parents. His father is a casual laborer and his mother is involved in a small business through microenterprise. Joshua is visually impaired. He has a best friend named Dennis. With the help of a sponsor, Joshua will continue to attend school at the St. Oda School for the Visually Impaired, receive the advocacy and medical support he needs, and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
