“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Colins Owuor

Age: 20

Collins lives in rural Kenya and has a seizure disorder.

Collins lives with both of his parents and with his three siblings. His father is a pastor while his mother is a full time homemaker. Collins began experiencing seizures when he was twelve years old. This affected his self-esteem and performance in school. He is now on medication for the seizures, and is in his final year of high school. He is currently awaiting a visit with a neurologist. Collins plays soccer in school and participates in the school choir. With the help of a sponsor, Collins will continue to attend Kibigori Secondary School, receive the advocacy and medical support he needs, and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
