“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorships

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Josephine Otieno

Age: 18

Josephine lives in rural Kenya and is visually impaired.

Josephine lives with both of her parents, who are small scale farmers, and with her six siblings. She was born with partial sight. Despite trying many different treatments including surgery, Josephine lost her sight completely. Josephine loves to sing and also loves to knit. With the help of a sponsor, Josephine will continue to attend the St. Oda School for the Visually Impaired, receive the advocacy and medical support she needs, and will have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
