“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Belinda Asiko

Age: 14

Belinda lives in rural Kenya and is visually impaired.

Belinda lived with her grandmother until she passed away two years ago. Belinda was then taken in by a neighbor, who is a casual laborer. She is a very happy girl even though she has completely lost her sight. Belinda is currently awaiting a cane to help her get around more easily. Belinda loves to tell stories, sing and recite poems. She is extroverted and very friendly. With the help of a sponsor, Belinda will continue to attend the St. Oda Special School for the Visually Impaired, receive the advocacy and medical support she needs, and have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
