“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Lewis Otieno

Age: 16

Lewis lives in rural Kenya and has a hearing impairment.

Lewis was born in a family of five. His parents died and he was left with aging grandparents who have now also died. Lewis’ aunt took him in and he lives with her now. She is a small scale business lady who has three children of her own. Lewis loves to draw and color, and attends the Chekombero Special School for the Hearing Impaired. With the help of a sponsor, Lewis will continue to attend his school, receive the advocacy and medical support he needs, and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
