“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Gabriel Nandoya

Age: 17

Gabriel lives in rural Kenya and has autism.

Gabriel is the youngest child in his family and lives with his widowed mother, who is a casual laborer, and his four siblings. His father died when he was four years old. Gabriel started having seizures when he was two years old. He was taken to the hospital and later diagnosed with autism. He takes medication currently, and is learning well at the Phanero School. Gabriel loves to play with balls. With the help of a sponsor, Gabriel will continue to attend his school, receive the advocacy and medical support he needs, and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
