“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love. and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Elizabeth Lihabi

Age: 11

Elizabeth lives in rural Kenya and has autism.

Elizabeth lives with her grandmother who is a peasant farmer. She was born normally to her teenage mother, but her mother was unable to care for her. At the age of two, her grandmother realized that Elizabeth was having challenges. She was taken to the hospital and later diagnosed with autism. Elizabeth loves to play with dolls. With the help of a sponsor, Elizabeth will continue to attend the St. Joseph Special School, receive the advocacy and medical support she needs, and will have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
