“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Austine Amoyi

Age: 14

Austine lives in rural Kenya and has a physical disability.

Austine was the oldest child of three in his family, all of whom were involved in a road accident where he was seriously injured. His two siblings were killed in the accident. Austine is now under the care of his single father. He has undergone brain surgery, and is awaiting another surgery to cover his scalp. His spine was affected in the accident, and he now uses a wheelchair. Despite all this, Austine is a very happy and healthy boy now. He loves to watch soccer and play with toy cars. With the help of a sponsor, Austine will continue to attend the St. Antony Special School, will receive the advocacy and medical support he needs, and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
