“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Abigail Sagina

Age: 11

Abigail lives in rural Kenya and is visually impaired.

Abigail lives with both of her parents who are small scale farmers and also do casual labor. She is the third born out of four children. Abigail was born healthy but developed eye problems at the age of two. She underwent surgery, however later completely lost her sight. Abigail attends the St. Oda Special School for the Visually Impaired and is doing very well there. Abigail loves to play with clay, and can model items from clay or plasticine. With the help of a sponsor, Abigail will continue to attend her school, and will have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
