“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Patience Amunga

Age: 11

Patience lives in rural Kenya and has a physical disability.

Patience is a sweet little girl who lives with a physical disability. She is an orphan and lives with her aging grandparents, and six siblings. She is the youngest of her siblings. Patience was stricken with polio at age two. Patience loves to play with dolls, and she loves the company of other children. With the help of a sponsor, Patience will continue to attend Kitambazi Primary School, receive advocacy and medical assistance, and will have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
