“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Melvin Mwanisa

Age: 16

Melvin lives in rural Kenya and has autism and a physical disability.

She also experiences seizures and attends seizure control clinics. She lives with both of her parents, who are casual laborers, and five siblings. Melvin is a very happy girl who loves the company of other children. She also loves to draw. With the help of a sponsor, Melvin will continue to attend the Kaimosi Special School and will have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
