“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Silvan Kigarave

Age: 11

Silvan lives in rural Kenya and has autism.

Silvan lives with both of his parents, who are casual laborers. He is the youngest in a family of eight. Silvan currently attends the St. Ursula Special School for Autistic Children. Silvan loves to be alone. He does play with many different types of toys, but loses interest in them very quickly. With the help of a sponsor, Silvan will continue to attend his school, as well as receiving home support and advocacy, and will have the opportunity to reach his full potential.
