“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love. and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Princess Arudi

Age: 7

Princess lives in rural Kenya and attends the Ebukuya Special School.

Princess was born normally, and experienced healthy development until the age of one. At that time, Princess contracted malaria, which developed into seizures. She is now slow in speech development. Princess lives with both of her parents, who are peasant farmers and small scale business people. Princess has been recommended for speech therapy at the Ebukuya Special School. Princess is a very outgoing and social child who loves to play with tins, balls, and with other children. With the help of a sponsor, Princess will continue to attend the Ebukuya Special School where she will have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
