“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Loice Otinga

Age: 19

Loice lives in rural Kenya and has cerebral palsy.

Loice lives with her ailing Grandmother, who sometimes receives help from a neighbor to care for her. Loice’s mother died and her father is unable to care for the family. Loice contracted meningitis when she was six years old, and later was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. She receives assistance through home based care from CDFI. Loice loves to be around other children and watch them play around her, she cannot hold anything and depends entirely on her caregiver. Loice also cannot talk, but loves to hear others talk. She enjoys listening to soft music. With the help of a sponsor, Loice will continue to receive home based care and have the opportunity to reach her full potential.
