“We cannot all do great things, but we can do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.”

– Mother Teresa

Sponsorship has the power to change the life of a child living with special needs in Kenya, and to provide critical support to families caring for children with disabilities.

For just $50 a month, you’ll help an extremely vulnerable child to receive medical attention (includes all regular care as well as any therapy or surgery), appropriate educational placement when possible, home based care and support to families, and advocacy in their community. Most importantly, you’ll be showing God’s love in a personal way to a special child.

Below, meet the children who are waiting to be sponsored by someone like you.

Wenslouse Chazima

Age: 14

Wenslouse lives in rural Kenya, has a physical disability, and delayed speech.

Wenslouse has a physical disability as well as delayed speech development. He was born at home with the help of a traditional midwife and is a generally healthy and happy boy. Wenslouse is part of a family of six. He lives with both of his parents who are casual laborers. He loves to play soccer. With the help of a sponsor, Wenslouse will continue to attend St. Joseph Special School (where he also receives speech therapy) and have the opportunity reach his full potential.
